Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His global success has seen him break into mainstream Latin music. His 2016 hit Una Lady Como Tu was the recipient of a Colombian Kids Choice Award for the most popular Song in 2017. The singer released his first long-player ADN to the local Sony distributor in Medellin La Industria Inc. On the Top Latin Albums chart, it reached no. 8. Vaina Loca, one of the Top Five hit of Ozuna's Top Five album in 2007 was the album that brought him into Ozuna. Mala Influencia came out as his collaboration with Noriel in 2020. In the following calendar year Dopamina became his second album. He appeared later in 2021 on a duet TINI on her streaming hit track Maldita Foto. 2023 was the year 2000 when the hit La Bachata was released. Turizo was raised within a musical family, as both his mother & younger brother are musicians. Turizo has told interviews that music is a must. In his early years, he learned to play saxophone guitar the ukulele, and piano. His initial choice of career was to be a vet However, his brother Julian convinced him to study to sing with the help of a Cuban instructor. It was the result that he discovered his own talent for singing and transformed his career path.
